Location

Tigh an Tearlach is a secluded holiday cottage in Feshiebridge, 8 miles south of Aviemore in the Cairngorms National Park.

The self catering cottage is situated in it's own grounds, off the quiet road from Feshiebridge to Achlean and is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful part of the Scottish Highlands.

From the public road you follow a track down by the Allt a Mharcaidh to the property which looks out across a pony field towards the fast-flowing River Feshie.

The Cottage

Tigh an Tearlach is a cosy self catering bungalow which sleeps up to 4 people.

Facilities include:

  • Double bedroom with Kingsize bed
  • Twin bedroom with ensuite shower and toilet
  • Large sitting room with adjoining dining room and views across the pony field
  • Fitted kitchen with breakfast area and utility room
  • Bathroom and toilet
  • Storage heaters and a wood burning stove in the sitting room
  • Picnic table

A maximum of two well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Things to do

The cottage is in a superb location whether you're here for gentle relaxation or to take part in the numerous outdoor activities the area has to offer.

From the top of the driveway the stunning view gives a taste of the outstanding local scenery.

If you want to forget the car for a week you can enjoy numerous easy walks from the cottage, ride superb bike trails in Glen Feshie or just spend the day watching the birds feed in the garden.

Nearby Loch Insh has a watersports centre and restaurant and the towns of Kingussie and Aviemore are a short drive away.

After Imbolc (the traditional Gaelic festival marking the beginning of spring) we start to enjoy longer days and the earth starts to stir. The trees and plants are begining to wake up and soon spring flowers will be out in the woods at Tigh an Tearlach.

Our 2026 prices are the same as last year: £400 per week from October to March and £600 per week from April to September. Hope to see you soon.

After a hectic Summer here in Glen Feshie we’re getting ready for Autumn. Our winter wood supply has arrived in anticipation of those clear frosty nights when you sit by the fire, while outside the stars shimmer and the owls call to each other in the trees.
